Christian Snoek and Leon ten Hoedt breathe new life into German go-kart track
Christian Snoek, owner of Kartcentrum Zwolle and Kartcentrum Lelystad, and Leon ten Hoedt are joining forces. Together they will breathe new life into The Kartcompany Emsbüren as it's been renamed now. After being closed for two years, a lot of work has been done on the kart track since the beginning of this year. Kart track Emsbüren, just across the border near Oldenzaal and Enschede, has opened its doors to all karting enthusiasts from Germany, the Netherlands and even Belgium. Under the name The Kart Company Emsbüren, Christian and Leon operate the revamped kart track, which at 870 metres offers a nice racing layout for both rental karts and drivers with a private kart.
Kart track Emsbüren will also become the stage for endurance races, championships and further racing activities. With the commissioning of the kart track, another additional circuit will be available for races for, among others, the Dutch Racing Series. For more information: www.kartcompanyemsbueren.de
Knowledgeable acquisition
After Leon ten Hoedt decided to take on the Emsbüren kart track at the beginning of January this year, Christian Snoek became a co-shareholder of The Kart Company Emsbüren.
After months of hard work on a complete renovation, I am delighted that the kart track is finally open. With Christian Snoek on board, we can draw on his knowledge and experience in running successful kart tracks. I therefore see a bright future ahead for The Kartcompany Emsbüren. says Leon ten Hoedt
One such initiative is to offer young karting talent more opportunities to progress (affordably). Therefore, the two entrepreneurs have entered into a special cooperation with Rob Lucassen from Kartbaan Ulrum. There, he organises club races which he will also organise and promote in Emsbüren in the future.
The kart track looks great and is a real race track. Unlike Lelystad and Zwolle, in Emsbüren we can attract bigger races and unfold new initiatives in terms of racing. We have already organised the first try-out race of our Dutch Racing Series here and it tasted like more. says Christian Snoek
ABOUT THE KART COMPANY EMSBÜREN
The Kart Company Emsbüren originated from a cooperation between Christian Snoek and Leon ten Hoedt. With their company they operate go-kart track Emsbüren, which was recently completely renovated. A modern fleet of rental karts of the Sodi brand is available at the track, consisting of children's karts, adult karts and duo karts. In addition, the track in Emsbüren can also be used by kart owners with either a 2- or 4-stroke engine. The go-kart track in Emsbüren has a long history in karting. After years of stagnation, Christian and Leon are now adding a new chapter to this history. With innovative ideas, both entrepreneurs want to give karting a new international impulse. The motto is; Real karting is done outdoors, and by everyone!
